Jack de Tar Contributing Writer
Jack deTar is a student within the Nyingma and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. He graduated from Brown University in 2013, where he studied Buddhist philosophy and poetry. He has trained with Buddhist meditation masters in Nepal and India, but is only beginning to scratch the surface of genuine practice. He currently lives in New York, but intends to return to Nepal to continue his studies at Ka-Nying Shedrub Ling monastery under the direction of meditation master Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche. Jack hopes to apply his skills as a writer to help other practitioners connect with the masters and lineages that hold the wisdom of the Buddha’s teaching.
